Meet your team:
Jen Query – Program Manager, MA, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C). Jen is a former WMU strength and conditioning coach for women’s basketball, hockey, softball and cross country. Former trainer for the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins and the AFL Rampage teams.
Fred Murphy – Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach (RSCC), USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. Fred is a former Minor League strength & conditioning coach with the Detroit Tigers and has over 10 years of experience training athletes in all sports.
Steve Ball – Fitness Supervisor, MS, Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist. Steve has over 10 years of experience training athletes with an emphasis on biomechanics.
Amanda Kurtz – Strength & Conditioning Coach, MS, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM EP-C), Amanda is an Oshtemo Township Firefighter and a team trainer for the WMU Women’s Figure Skating team.
Shelby Hirdning – Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NSCA Personal Trainer. Shelby is a former high school basketball and volleyball standout and has several years of experience developing programs for athletes from all sports.
Aaron Gipson – Strength & Conditioning Coach, Certified Personal Trainer (ASCM-CPT). Aaron is a former high school basketball standout and brings his passion for all sports to developing signature sport specific strength & conditioning programs.
